The Quality Control (QC) Inspector will monitor repair operations, conduct receiving inspection, and ensure products and services are meeting the quality management system, customer requirements, engineering specifications and appropriate industry / regulatory standards.
In role of Quality Control Inspector, you will:
Verify and inspect raw materials, finished products, and vendor products per drawing, Engineering BOM and customer’s requirements and industries standards
Identify, label and generate quality reports as well as non-conformance reports for all defective materials
Interface and co-ordinate with customer’s representative for customer concern reporting
Ensure control and maintenance of all quality related documents for its retention period
Perform quality inspection for product and services done at suppliers, ensure suppliers are performing per engineering specifications and comply with all quality assurance procedures
Use measuring instruments for in-process inspection, ensure all measuring equipment used in the shop are working per its specific requirement
Schedule and calibrate measuring and test equipment, ensure all measuring and test equipment are performing to its intended requirements
Perform other quality related activities assigned by Site/Quality manager
Qualifications/Requirements High School Diploma/GED from an accredited school or institution
Minimum 2 years of experience in the oil field environment
Ability and willingness to work varying shifts, irregular hours, overtime, weekends and holidays, as required
Ability and willingness to work in a constant pushing, pulling, lifting, stretching, bending and other physical activities
Ability and willingness to be in the shop environment a minimum of 8 hours per day, primarily standing and sitting, as required
Ability and willingness to lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
Ability and willingness to be subjected to extreme heat for extended periods of time
Ability and willingness to read and apply blueprints and established procedures

Desired Characteristics Associate’s in Engineering or Technical discipline from an accredited college or university
Proficient with measurement equipment/tools
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Prefer API 6A knowledge
Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools
Ability to read and apply blueprints and established procedures
